Per the Chapter 5.10 of the East Palo Alto Municipal Code - MINIMUM WAGE ORDINANCE - Beginning January 1, 2021, when this ordinance took effect, employers who are subject to the East Palo Alto Business License Tax OR who maintain a facility in East Palo Alto must pay to each employee who performs at least two (2) hours of work per week in East Palo Alto.  

Effective January 1, 2026, the minimum wage is no less than $17.90 per hour.
