Beginning on January 1, 2026, and then on January 1 of each year, the minimum wage will increase by the prior calendar year’s increase, if any, in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for Urban Wage Earners and Clerical Workers for the San Francisco-Oakland-Hayward, CA metropolitan statistical area for large employers.  For Small Employers, the minimum wage will match California State Law. 

Effective January 1, 2026:

Small employers (25 or fewer employees) $16.90

Large Employers (26 or more employees) $17.79
