Minimum Wage
Employees must be paid at least the New Jersey minimum wage, which increases annually. As of 1/1/2026:

• Most Employers: $15.92

• Seasonal/Small Employers: $15.23

• Agricultural Employers: $14.20

• Tipped Workers (Cash Wage): $6.05

• Long-Term Care Direct Care Staff: $18.92
  Rates may increase annually based on inflation.
